Took a drive up to Glasgow today for a change and thought I would try out the new HD camera at George Square. Clarity is superb but can’t seem to stop the shaking. Don’t worry, will try it on a tripod soon and see what the difference is.

The City Chambers always looks grand although I could not get a decent video of any statues without the seagulls perched on top!

I was quite sneaky with the statue of Prince Albert Consort and angled the camera under the horse! Turned out rather well and not a feather in sight!

The above video is from today but the enclosed picture is from a previous visit. Always like to check out what’s happening at the Square because if there are no protests or marches you can usually spot a VIP or someone popping into or out of the City Chambers. Strangely quiet today though.
